The Taylor-Dunn MX600 Maintenance Expediter is a product solution designed to move a repairman, tool chest, and work bench to down equipment in less than one third of the time required by conventional methods. Improved productivity results from both the reduced time to reach the down equipment and the efficiency resulting from a work shop at the repair site. Further, time for return trips to the maintenance area for spare parts or additional equipment are reduced by more than 50%. Finally, because tools are already stored in the on-board tool chest, preparation time in the maintenance shop is eliminated.
Equipped with 24 volt battery system, the 3 wheel Maintenance Expediter can travel at speeds of 10 mph. An all welded steel unitized body and frame is built to last for years of use. Modularized control system design provides ease of maintenance on all electrical systems. Safety loop tiller steering protects the driver, and equipped with solid state controller and hall effect accelerator module provides safe acceleration during daily operation.
The four-wheeled variant of the Maintenance Expediter is the MX1600. It boasts a larger work surface, higher payload capacity, and more storage. Features include a lockable tool box, tool cabinet, and vise. An optional ladder rack and welding tank compartment can be added for more functionality.
