These rugged electric tow tractors with small overall dimensions and short wheel-base, are designed to operate in extremely tight quarters which exclude full-sized vehicles.
Unlike other compact tow vehicles, the TOWMASTERS run on heavy duty industrial batteries.
All-welded steel construction, incorporating 1/4" thick panels and independently mounted steering column, insures that these vehicles can withstand the rigors of heavy duty use.
This rugged body rides on multiple leaf springs front and rear, Power Traction oil bath chain drive, and differential with over- sized axles. Four wheel disc brakes and fully pneumatic tires are used for superior traction and braking.
Both models are powered by a DC series motor with stepless electronic controls. The Model C4-10 can tow loads of up to 12,500 lbs. at speeds up to 7 mph. The two-seat C4-20 is slightly wider, has a larger motor, and can pull up to 20,000 lbs.
